The street closures, day by day
The westbound lane of Landa Street closes to vehicles from Zink Street to Landa Park Drive, and stays open to people on foot, for the whole run.

Getting there
The park and ride, the rideshare drop, the coach route
Park and ride. Comal County Fairgrounds, 701 E Common Street. Parking free; the shuttle is $10 a person, and children 12 and under ride free. That lot is the fairgrounds on East Common Street, which our own geocode puts a short way east of the park.
Rideshare. Mill Race Run, inside Landa Park.
Coaches and limos. Charter buses, motorcoaches and limos route Loop 337 to Common Street, Common to Union, Union to W. Torrey, W. Torrey to Elizabeth Ave, and drop at Hinman Island.
Parking inside Landa Park is limited, which is the point of the shuttle. A renter inside the walking ring skips all three arrangements, and for ten nights that is worth more than it sounds.
The lease question
What this actually means for a move
Ten days a year is not a reason to sign a lease, and we are not going to pretend it is. What the table above really shows is which communities sit next to Landa Park and the Comal springs all year, and the festival is one visible week of that.
If the timing matters for a different reason, that is worth saying out loud: this is not the cheap season to sign. Concessions across our bank move with new supply rather than with the festival calendar, and the live blocks on this page will tell you what they are on the day you read it rather than what they were when this was written.

Does living near Landa Park cost more?+
Not by much on today's bank. The cheapest start inside a mile of the park is $919 against $799 across the whole market. This is the older part of town rather than the new-build ring, which is a large part of why.
Is it worth renting here just for ten days a year?+
On its own, no, and we would rather say so. The same walk that gets you to the festival gets you to Landa Park and the Comal springs every other week of the year, and that is the reason to weigh it. Ten days is not a lease.
